Hacking is the act of gaining access without legal authorization to a computer network, and if you hack into a computer system it is illegal and you are therefore a hacker.

Hacking can be done for various reasons, such as financial gain, espionage, activism, or simply for the challenge or thrill of breaking into secure systems.

1.WHITE HAT HACKERS:

White hat hackers are the work for the government and organizations by performing penetration testing and identifying loopholes in their cybersecurity. They also ensure the protection from the malicious cyber crimes.

*They are called Ethical hackers or Cybersecurity experts.

2.BLACK HAT HACKERS:

Black hat hackers can gain the unauthorized access of your system and destroy your vital data. They are considered to be as criminals and can be easily identified because of their malicious actions.

*They are often called Crackers.

3.GREY HAT HACKERS:

Gray hat hackers fall somewhere in the category between white hat and black hat hackers. They work with both good and bad intentions; they can use their skills for personal gain. They are not legally authorized hackers.

4.SCRIPT KIDDIES:

A Script kiddie is an unskilled persons who uses scripts or downloads tools available for hacking provided by other hackers. They attempt to attack computer systems and networks and deface websites.

5.STATE SPONSORED HACKERS:

State Sponsored Hackers are those who are appointed by the government to provide them cybersecurity and to gain confidential information from other countries to stay at the top or to avoid any kind of danger to the country . they are highly paid government workers.

6.HACKTIVISTS:

Hacktivists are hackers whose their skills to promote social or political causes. They may target government agencies, corporations, or other entities to expose wrongdoing , advocate for change, or raise awareness about specific issues.

7.CYBER TERRORISTS SUICIDE HACKERS:

The term "suicide hackers" is often used to refer to a hacker with limited skills who attempts to gain unauthorized access to a system, often with reckless disregard for getting caught.

These hackers are typically motivated by factors such as revenge, protest, or self-satisfaction, and they may be willing to accept the consequences of their actions, such as being arrested or facing legal repercussions.

8.SPY HACKERS:

These hackers are often highly skilled and well- funded, and they target sensitive information, intellectual property, government secrets, and other valuable data.

Spy hackers often use sophisticated techniques and tools to infiltrate computer networks, bypass security measures, and remain undetected for extended periods of time.
